CHEA launched a new Accreditor Leadership Roundtable to strengthen coordination and strategic engagement among accrediting organizations as federal policy attention intensifies. The initiative is designed as an ongoing forum for accreditor presidents to align perspectives on quality assurance, student success, and shared challenges. The Roundtable is led by CHEA President Nasser Paydar and co-led with Dr. Selena M. Grace, president of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. CHEA says the group will focus on improving communication across accreditor types and supporting a more informed national dialogue on academic quality. CHEA emphasized the Roundtable is not a governance body. Instead, it’s intended to serve as an action-oriented working group to respond to emerging issues and bolster public understanding of how accreditation supports continuous improvement and student outcomes.
