Business education AI adoption is shifting from pilots to institution-wide strategy, but the central bottleneck is faculty readiness rather than technology deployment. A report update from Inspire Higher Ed with AACSB International, GMAC, and the Graduate Business Curriculum Roundtable emphasizes faculty development as the pivot theme for scaling AI integration. A College Board survey of more than 3,000 faculty cited a sharp gap: among faculty who have used AI hands-on, 95% said it helps students grasp complex material; only 60% of faculty without direct experience agreed. The update also shows the participating school network has expanded from 48 in January 2026 to 84 by July, including AACSB-accredited programs such as Columbia Business School, MIT Sloan, UC Berkeley Haas, Northwestern Kellogg, NYU Stern, and Nigeria’s Docenti Global Business School. The cluster signals that the next stage of AI in B-schools will be driven by professional development and classroom proof points, not procurement alone.
