A tenured San José State professor is suing California State University and alleges civil-rights violations connected to her pro-Palestinian activism. Sang Hea Kil says she was fired in 2025 and, despite a prior arbitrator order for reinstatement, is pursuing litigation alleging violations of the California Fair Housing and Employment Act, Title VII, and the First Amendment. CSU spokespeople did not respond to a request for comment.
