A federal judge ordered the Pentagon to give Alibaba a temporary reprieve from a lobbying restriction tied to the Defense Department’s Chinese military blacklist. U.S. District Judge Eumi K. Lee will block the Pentagon from treating Alibaba as a Chinese military company for purposes of the restriction while she considers Alibaba’s motion or waits for a hearing outcome.
