Republicans on the House Education and the Workforce Committee released a package of bills that would permanently route many U.S. Department of Education programs to other federal agencies, with two measures targeting large K-12 formula and CTE programs. The proposal follows a series of interagency agreements already shifting dozens of programs and functions outside the department.
