The Department of Justice extended compliance deadlines for a web accessibility rule for state and local public entities, including colleges and K–12 systems. Under an interim final rule, counties or cities with populations of 50,000 or more now have until April 26, 2027; smaller jurisdictions get until April 26, 2028.
