Bard College announced a leadership change, naming executive vice president Jonathan Becker as acting president effective July 1 while the board conducts a search for permanent leadership. The decision follows months of disruption after U.S. Justice Department files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein added new detail about Leon Botstein’s relationship with Epstein. Becker will chair a new leadership council to support the transition and set the terms of the search.
