Northeastern has finalized its merger with Marymount Manhattan College, officially making it Northeastern University–New York City, according to the report. The merger makes Northeastern the first out-of-state university to provide a full suite of undergraduate programs in New York State, expanding footprint and program access in the Upper East Side. The institutions previously mapped curricula and created pathways for student mobility, with research and experiential learning plans aligned to New York’s financial and media sector needs.
