Districts and higher‑education leaders are moving from AI experimentation to formal policy and training. A national forum convened K–12 educators to map teacher training, policy frameworks and student‑centered models; districts shared practices for student voice and equity when integrating AI into learning. The Trump administration’s executive order on teacher AI training is accelerating this work. On campuses, thought leaders are advancing the idea of ‘agentic’ AI—autonomous AI agents that can manage tasks—prompting universities to plan governance, faculty development and risk controls for 24/7 agentic tools. The two strands reflect a sector‑wide push to balance AI’s pedagogical potential with oversight, assessment integrity and equity.
