A study analyzing over 4,200 graduates from the MBA Class of 2024 revealed that only 13% secured jobs with the top 10 most popular post-MBA employers, such as McKinsey and Amazon. The majority joined a broad array of companies, many of which hired only one or two MBAs. The research also found that 28% of graduates took roles with lower titles than before, often in exchange for better industry or location fit. The findings suggest a more fragmented and diverse post-MBA job market than traditionally perceived, encouraging greater openness to varied employers.
