A national survey of MBA students found overwhelming support for making automation, data strategy and AI literacy core features of business curricula; 92% said these topics should be integrated into core requirements and 78% favored AI literacy as a required graduation skill. Yet only 41% said their programs teach emerging tech skills 'very well.' A separate student survey shows low awareness and uptake of campus AI courses: about 31% of students know of AI offerings and fewer than 20% have taken them. Many students report using AI informally for editing and brainstorming, but universities lag in structured instruction and ethics training. Business schools face pressure to embed AI systematically rather than as electives. Administrators must balance rapid curriculum updates, faculty training and risk governance while responding to student demand for practical tech skills.
