University of Colorado Boulder will launch a nine-month Master of Science in Sustainable Business in fall 2026, designed to fast-track graduates into climate and sustainability careers. The Leeds School of Business plans an initial cohort of about 25 students, alongside a parallel Master of Science in Sustainable Engineering from the College of Engineering and Applied Science. The degrees share six common courses intended to connect business, engineering, and natural science perspectives. The program also incorporates environmental systems, policy design, leadership for sustainability transitions, and data analysis for sustainability decision-making. CU Boulder said the combined pipeline is aimed at meeting demand from industry partners in the state and region, emphasizing cross-college coursework as a core design feature rather than electives.
