A consortium of international universities announced the planned launch of “The Scholar Ship,” a semester-long study-at-sea program built around a floating transnational learning community. The program will host up to 600 international undergraduates and graduate students aboard a specially equipped passenger ship, with academic and cultural activities conducted on board and ashore across multiple countries.
