Surveys show a striking mismatch: MBA and graduate students overwhelmingly want AI, automation and data strategy integrated into core curricula, yet many report programs are not delivering. An Arkansas State survey found 92% of MBA respondents want tech embedded in the core and 78% want AI literacy required; only 41% say programs teach these skills well. A separate student poll found just 31% of undergraduates are aware of AI courses at their institutions and fewer than 20% have taken them. Campus leaders face pressure from students and employers to accelerate curricular reform while building governance for ethics, experiential labs and faculty development.
