House Republicans introduced a package of bills aimed at “right-sizing” the U.S. Department of Education, with legislation that would disperse most federal education responsibilities to other executive agencies. Rep. Tim Walberg, R-Mich., said the goal is to reduce bureaucracy while keeping continuity for students and stakeholders.
