The U.S. Department of Justice sued the University of California, Los Angeles, alleging the university violated federal civil-rights law by being “deliberately indifferent” to harassment targeting Jewish and Israeli students. DOJ also asks a judge to require UCLA to repay federal grants it received while seeking permission to pause remaining grant payments.
